My students are a fun bunch of respectful, kind and quirky learners! They are learning to be outspoken & I encourage them to be mindful and kind to others. I want them to engage in learning in a comfortable, adaptable space and get to work amongst each other with a positive growth mindset. Many of my students are also English Language Learners and they face challenges that their peers may not understand, so I want them to be able to work together, share their perspectives, read as much as they can, and feel safe in my classroom while doing so. My students have traditional science seating, but we also learn social studies & Language Arts in my classroom. This can make our work space challenging with all the different materials, text books and seating arrangements. I am hoping to achieve a comfortable reading space with bean bags, gamer chairs, and books in a variety of languages. We hope to have a wonderful year!
