Our students are a diversified and dynamic group of middle school students. Our school is located in a small rural community in Colorado. 40% of our population is supported by the Free/Reduced Meal Program. We serve an English as a Second Language population. Many of our students come to our school for the small class sizes. Often, we welcome students who, for a variety of reasons, have not been successful in a public school environment. And at the same time, we have students who thrive academically and push the envelope. We have some amazing students who need as many hands-on opportunities as we can possibly provide. Because the class sizes are small, the opportunities for a dynamic hands-on problem solving lesson are truly fabulous. Sadly, like so many schools, we are underfunded and do what we can to make every penny count. Thank you for supporting education and our students!!
