Activity tables, such as the ones that I am asking for, encourage social behavior, creativity, and cooperation among students. They are ideal for the small group setting when one teacher is helping multiple students at one time. We will be able to share manipulatives, feed off of each other's ideas, work together, and create a sense of community. The past two years of school have been a difficult one for students when it comes to their learning. I want to make sure that students not only have the opportunity to get that extra help from me, but also make sure it is done the correct way. These horseshoe tables will provide my officemate and I that opportunity to best serve our students.
