Students had to research job of a crime scene investigator after reading Macbeth. This investigation included accessing online the job via Career Cruising and then creating a Power Point or Prezi presentation that included a recreation of one of the crime scenes in the story. This assignment was difficult for my small special needs resource class. The use of technology reinforced reading, writing, math and speaking skills; a key part of our curriculum goals. Students also benefited using this technology to reinforce their skill level with digital literacy. The integration of so many skills helped students to work over a period of time to demonstrate mastery, kept them engaged, and aided comprehension of a Shakespearean play!
