Do you remember the wonder that pre-school was? Learning through play is what Pre-K is all about. Every day I try and have my students experience something new. I am a Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teacher so my class consists of students with varying degrees of hearing loss. My Deaf/Hard of Hearing students learn the best through exploration, hands on, language rich activities. DHH students greatest disadvantage is their language delay. In my Total Communication classroom, I use sign language as well as spoken English to expose my children to language all day long. They are curious and excited to come to school to learn.
