In the fifth grade ICT room, we cater to all types of learners. The fifth graders are compassionate, caring young individuals who are starting to develop their own personalities and hobbies. Everyday out classroom is busy with all different activities going on! Students enjoy coming to school and being given different ways to learn material. The students are excited to dig deeper in topics in the content areas of social studies and science. They enjoy analyzing and inferencing texts in ELA. In mathematics, they are practicing to apply mathematical concepts to real world situations. However, it takes a lot of planning and materials to ensure that each student is given the materials they need. As a special education teacher, I ensure that students are given printouts and early finisher activities to enhance learning outcomes.
