These books will allow students to explore a wide range of other cultures, races, ethnicities, religions, neurodiverse populations, and the LGBTQ+ community. Students will spend time reading their novel, exploring similarities and differences in their own cultures/communities, and finally, publishing a blog that promotes equity and diversity within our classroom and West Allis Central. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing in our sophomore hands-on and student-driven PBL learning community. I would be so grateful if I could provide these young adult novels to students eager to explore more of our diverse and multicultural world. I am so grateful for your support to make this project a reality!
