The school I will be at next year has a very small almost non existent art program, which is really sad for the size of the school. The program has died out over the past few years because students are not interested in taking the classes. I was brought in to bring new life back to the program and get the students excited about the arts again. The students are really in to ceramics, drama, and choir but not into the traditional arts. I plan on revamping the whole program and getting the community and students involved in building the program back up. My school has a strong community among the students and their families and I want to use these strong community ties to have art festivals, and art shows getting students excited about the program again.

About my class
