I teach 16 amazing Second graders in a Title 1 school. Our school is located in a low socio-economic area in North Carolina near a large military base. Our families struggle daily to make sure that their basic needs are met. My students work very hard and are eager to learn. Our classroom has a limited amount of hands-on materials available to make learning meaningful.
