Welcome and thank you for considering a donation to my classroom! I hope that you find the projects I have posted to be worthy and beneficial to student learning. This is my 8th year of teaching. I decided to become a teacher when I was in 3rd grade. My third grade teacher stuck a chord in me about teaching that I never got away from. Despite my desire to become a teacher, I ended up in the IT field. I enjoyed troubleshooting computers, but my love for teaching always found a way as I quickly incorporated teaching into my job as a trainer for new software packages. I also volunteered as a Girl Scout leader for ten years. During my time as an IT professional, I went back to school to earn my teaching degree. It is true -when you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life! Touching the minds and hearts of my students is the most rewarding job I could ever have!
