My 3rd graders are kind, caring, smart, and above all else, they LOVE learning. They absolutely love working collaboratively and sharing their unique perspective with each other. Being a teacher at a low income school has many challenges, but I don't let those challenges define my classroom. Though some students are faced with difficulties outside of my classroom, I aim to keep a structured and routine-based environment in my room where my students can thrive. I believe that all students can be successful given the opportunity and tools to show their best work. My students know that our classroom is like our second home. We treat each other like family and work hard to ensure that no one gets left out or left behind. We learn, work, and stick together!
