Welcome. It is the goal of my curriculum to inspire students to develop logical problem solving skills that transfer to all areas of their lives. Students that are part of my classroom are provided many opportunities to express their understanding of mathematical ideas. Hands on activities and projects that support their learning are an integral part of the lessons. Students are encouraged to explore different ways to represent algebraic concepts as well as develop processes to complete project goals. In the 2018/2019 school year I will be teaching Algebra Intervention, Algebra II, and Transitions to College Math. The class sizes will be between 15 and 20 students. I hope to be able to provide my students with material and technology resources that will enhance their learning experiences. I thank you for consideration. Best regards, Mrs. Denice Ward
