Imagine sitting in a traditional style desk ALL day EVERY day! It can be uncomfortable. When students are uncomfortable they can become distracted and unproductive effecting their learning and those around them. The flexible comfy chairs will be used to offer my students an alternative seating option. Flexible seating encourages students to find their best spot to stay calm, focused and productive. I have found that flexible seating has been extremely beneficial during our silent reading block. Students are more active, engaged, enthusiastic, and relaxed which has increased their engagement and reading stamina. Currently, the only other seating option from the traditional desks is sitting or laying on the classroom floor. I would like to continue to develop their enjoyment for reading! And would appreciate your support!
