Students will have basic supplies needed for a classroom environment conducive to success in learning. The students are a part of an academy that focuses on building and bettering the community. We will be working on writing, reflection, creating action plans and presenting projects related to recognizing the Social Determinants of Health. Students will engage in classroom activities as well as school wide and community events. The students have a high need of basic classroom supplies, technological tools to allow us to listen to videos and recordings, supplies for getting water, a basic need and another classroom fan to help us be comfortable while learning. Lastly, lack of resources causes stress and students can easily be distracted when they aren't equipped with what they need to complete the classwork. Students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning!
