I took over this classroom in the middle of the quarter. Almost everything in the room belonged to the leaving teacher which left me with very little to work with. Right now I have books that are not age-appropriate and nowhere to set them up. I want to do everything I can to foster a love of reading in my students. I believe that having an area in the classroom to act as our library and reading area is the best way to do that. With the proper books and storage space, I can set our books up by level and teach my students which books they might like and will be the best fit for them!
