Hello everyone! My name is Delicia Wood and I am currently in my 5th year of teaching. The majority of my students come from a low socioeconomic background; therefore, one of the main goals for my classroom has always been to create a fun and rich learning environment where my students both feel safe and can learn. Last year the majority of my students and my school were greatly affected by Hurricane Harvey. I returned to school two months after schedule only to find that during and after the hurricane many items in my classroom were damaged or lost. Thank you in advance for any donations towards replacing these items and supplementing my students' necessary school supplies for the year. It means the world to me and my students!
