The students will utilize all materials to work collaboratively and independently within the classroom. Some of the materials such as clip boards, journals may be utilized at home for assignments if the students desire. In the years I have been teaching I have noticed that students need more than the desk/chair setting while learning within the classroom setting. My students will be able to have movement utilizing the carpet markers, individual student supply caddies, clip boards and individual journals. This movement while important must adhere to the social distancing guidelines which are in place. Students having individual supplies and carpet markers will guide them but also encourage them to work collaboratively. I know my students will love this after learning from home or in a more restricted learning environment for a year and a half.
