Our high school is a public school with grades 9-12. Our school is rural community, not a wealthy school, but one that holds fast to tradition. Our students want to take their love for science to the neighboring kindergarten class. Our entire community has about 25% poverty level. The high school students want to make a difference in their community; over forty high school chemistry students team up with a special education class at our school. Together, they plan the experiments, practice, make up solutions, collect two liter bottles, and travel to the neighboring kindergarten together. The students here are hard-working. Last year, the students planted over two hundred trees on the school property. They are not afraid of hard work and love to perform service that makes a difference.
