As a teacher, I want my students to be engaged in their learning and to motivate them to continue to want to learn. We currently share about 30 Chromebooks between 4 different classrooms, including mine. Each classroom has a minimum of 25 kids per class and those Chromebooks cannot keep up! Some of them are already broken, have missing keys, which diminish the amount of Chromebooks available for use, and the list just goes on. I like to incorporate technology as part of our everyday learning. A lot of my students do not have access to technology at home and I want them to have that in our classroom. These Chromebooks would help us out tremendously during our centers or when students are working individually without having to wait until the end of the day for our turn to get the shared Chromebooks. I know my students as well as myself would appreciate them more than words can say.
