The only technology in our school's library for our students to use is five student computers. I want to bring our library up to 21st Century Standards by bringing in iPads. Our students deserve the very best that we can give them. Collaboration and teamwork are important skills for our boys and girls to learn at an early age. These are skills they will use the rest of their life's. My job as a school librarian is to create lifelong learners. Using various apps available on iPads in small groups to further enhance library skills, research, Standards of Learning, and independent reading is one exciting way to do this!

About my class
