Thank you for visiting our Deaf and Hard of Hearing middle school community class. We are a team of professionals working together to make the child's daily environment accessible through use of sign language, tailored voice communication, combination of signing as well as tailored voice communications, amplification devices, and different therapy services. We teach enriched language skills promoting advocacy readiness through the use of direct instruction, hands on learning experiences, and other activities. We collaborate with the children's caregivers to promote future academic successes through the use of a variety of family events, and other parent supportive activities. We provide outreach within the child's community of residence facilitating the child's contributions to the community through the implementation of consultations in public venues and other community events.
