Altogether, my students are engaged in a variety of subjects: from biomedical courses to engineering. They all indelibly provide the classroom environment with a willingness and drive to learn. Allowing them to engage with a variety of texts that speak to their overall and future careers is not only beneficial in the scope of making school relevant to them but also lets them flourish where they are in the AP English Language course. The texts chosen have been curated from trial and error as it relates to past courses and have shown up as beloved and engaging course texts that students not only understand, but also make meaningful within their own lives.

About my class
