As a reading teacher, I know how important it is to be a successful reader. By using supplemental books to aid the many areas of Science and Social Studies, the students will be more excited about reading and also be able to extend the knowledge in the subject areas beyond what is taught in the classroom! The few books that I have in these areas are always passed around, and the students excitedly share what they recall from class lessons as well as new facts as they read them. I would love to be able to provide them with more od these resources that wilp be used year-round.
