It is very important for kids on the autism spectrum to take frequent breaks and have a space of their own. This is especially true when they are having ABA sessions. Our ABA room has very limited space for multiple people to do discrete trials at the same time. The table divider will give the students their own work space, the bean bag chairs will provide a place for the students to take a break and the storage units will give us an area to keep sensory items and materials needed to work with each student. The weighted blankets are important for keeping students calm. Children on the autism spectrum that receive ABA services need access to sensory materials, frequent breaks and a space of their own to work. This is only possible with the right materials.
