My class needs two iPads to help keep them engaged in their learning. We will use the iPads during math, science, social studies and language arts. Students will be able to do research on them as they have many reports that are assigned to them in 6th grade. We have access to Chromebooks but we have five other 6th grade classes that share one cart. I believe that with my students having access to iPads will open up many possibilities for them. I am a first year teacher and don't have all of the supplies and devices that other teachers have. Many of my students do not have access to a computer at home. These iPads will greatly impact their ability to learn and will allow more access to technology.
