I want to create a nurturing environment where my kids can feel comfortable and accepted. Knowing from personal experience I know what it's like to sit in a classroom and never learn, read or speak of diversity. There wasn't books of people that looked like me except during black history month. I want my classroom to be inclusive to all. I want my classroom to be a haven for my students to express themselves authentically and make mistakes for the sake of learning. We can celebrate their diversity with these items and sure them that they should be proud to be different! A strong classroom culture leads to strong Learners. Strong learners leads to strong scholars. Strong scholars lead to passionate, resilient, and confident global citizen. Thank you all in advance for your time, consideration and donations!
