I want to provide my students with books that they will enjoy and relate with in order to cultivate a love for reading. Many of them dislike reading because the only time they really have access to books are through English classes, in which they are often tested on what they read. I want them to experience the joy of being able to escape to another world or to think deeply through books without always having to be quizzed or drilled on what they are reading. This project will allow me to supply them with books that engages their interests while making them feel seen through the characters and subject matters of the books.

About my class
