My students enjoy hands-on learning projects... We are finishing up our Ghost Novel, by Jason Reynolds. It is about a boy who has lived through very hard times and has joined a track team. When we finish our novel, my students will be paired with one shoe. Each group will create a book report on one shoe. Students will present their "Book Report Shoe" report to our class. Creativity, hands-on learning will help build my students' love for learning! Then, we get to hang their "track shoe" book reports from the ceiling for all to see!
