My students are AT-RISK 5th graders from rural Texas who go to intervention and enrichment classes to support their Math and Reading skills. These wonderful students represent our HIGH-DIVERSITY, HIGH-POVERTY school (30% African-American, 50% Hispanic/Native Spanish Speakers, 10% Vietnamese. 80% reduced/free lunch.) I know we can change their lives through violin study!
