My school is a Title 1 school, where at least 40% of the students are on free and reduce lunch. Many of my fourth graders have little to no parent support, but are eager to learn new things and are excited about science and experiments. At our school, we want students to have fun while learning. We hope that this is a safe place for children to come to every day. For some of them, school is their escape from problems at home.
