Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to take charge of their own learning. Students will be able to choose a seat that they feel will help them stay motivated and engaged in their work. Students will be able to utilize all different types of seating as they move throughout the room during the day to work and collaborate with each other. Some examples of the seating I have chosen are: wobble seats for students that need help sitting still, desk risers for students who prefer to stand and lap desks for students who like to sit on the floor. Not only does flexible seating offer students choice, it makes their classroom comfortable and relaxing.
