I teach AP World History and AP US History, both college level courses, to 10th and 11th graders. Most of our students are low-income, minority teens who will be the first in their family to go to college. This is a high risk neighborhood with where even high school graduation represents a major challenge for students. However, I have some very motivated and goal-driven students in my classes. They’ve shown a strong desire to succeed in this class and go on to college.

About my class
