We are starting Reading Workshop at my school this year and we couldn't be more excited! My students are readers and will build the confidence and skills they need every day to be successful. Books are magical and open up many new worlds for students. In order to truly make this program a success, my students need to have an abundance of leveled books in our classroom that they can access in an organized manner. It is imperative that every child has opportunities to read books at his/her own level and explore books of varying genres and topics. I want my students to be responsible for their books by taking care of their personalized book bins with their hand-picked titles. I cannot wait to expose my students to the amazing world of reading and watch them shine and grow!
