My students are excited to start reading 'The Outsiders'. While taking notes and group discussions are effective, I feel that real time highlighting and annotation is best fit for my students' learning styles. My students are literal and visual learners that will greatly benefit by having their own copy to utilize in class, and take home to study and review at night. Both my students and I appreciate your generous donation, and will utilize our novels daily. The Outsiders is a classic novel that every student should read, and having a genuine learning experience will enable my students to take these lessons throughout their lifetime.
