Many students experience more stress than success while in school. This is even more true in the math classroom. It is my goal to help students focus on their goals and their future, rather than on what they are unable to master initially. I want our classroom environment to reduce anxiety from the moment each student enters. Lighting, seating options, and supplies are needed to make this dream a reality for my students. The lighting in school buildings is efficient, but relies on fluorescent bulbs and is harsh and noisy. Increasing lamp and natural lighting will immediately lessen visual difficulties. The diffuser will be visually appealing and assist in creating a more relaxed atmosphere.
