Hello! My name is Miss Shaw and I am a 2nd grade teacher at Camden's Pride Charter School. This is my 4th year teaching at Pride and I couldn't be happier. My passion for teaching began at a very young age. Growing up, I constantly loved to play "school" and teach my teddy bears how to read. I even had little desks and a chalkboard set up in my basement. At the age of 9, my younger brother was born and this was when I truly realized I had a passion for nurturing children. My first vivid memory of a child having an "ah ha!" moment was when my brother pointed to the moon and said "hey! That moon is the shape of a crescent. We read about that together!". The overwhelming rewarding feeling I felt after that moment is one I will never forget. Peace and love, Miss Shaw
