Providing all students a place to feel included is something I believe increases engagement and learning. Adding a little fun along the way, makes it even better! I think the throwable microphone ball will motivate kids to want to share their knowledge and thoughts in a new way. I teach math and science and I am constantly asking the students to "Explain their brain". Having a microphone to speak into is a great way for individual students to shine as they model for others how they came to their answer. This would also be a really fun way to engage with one another and it would enhance the level of cooperative learning in our classroom.
