Access to the internet and computers is very limited for some of our families. During the school day, I am trying to provide students with several opportunities to build their learning and experiences through the use of technology. I want to provide my students with learning experiences that will excite them through the use of Chromebooks in our classroom. I have been working on incorporating google classroom where students can pace their learning, lessons can be differentiated in experiences, and students can collaborate and share their learning. I also want to provide Genius Hour each week. This is a time for students to have the freedom to explore their own learning interests and then present in a share out project. These projects rely on the availability of technology, however, we do not have 1-1 Chromebooks currently available, this gift will bring us closer to having greater access. Thank you!
