My ninth grade English students are exceedingly bright, curious, and intensely passionate. They come from troubled homes and neighborhoods, and many have not yet found books and lessons that bring hope and inspiration to their lives. Everyday I try to provide an inspiring education. My school lacks engaging and relevant books, and this project will change that. Each of the books I have selected are based on the interests my students have identified, from criminology to philosophy.
