I teach fifth and sixth grade ENL at my school. I also provide lesson plans to a bilingual assistant that works with my students. Many of my students are reading below grade level and need all the support they can get. I also work with these same students in the areas of math especially with word problems and difficult abstract concepts. And this coming school year one of my biggest goals is to improve their academic language proficiency.
