With these resources, we will make a math toolkit for each individual student to use on a daily basis. Using the book bin to keep everything together, students will be able to have base-10 blocks at their fingertips to assist in solving math problems, along with a whiteboard to show their thinking, a clipboard to give them movement around the room, in addition to other supplies we already have in our classroom. With these toolkits, students can work independently to become magnificent mathematicians! Having these tools available to them each day gives them the opportunity to work by themselves or with partners to arrive at a solution rather than being hindered by the lack of mobility by one individual teacher.
