My students require colored pictures for therapy materials. Sometimes using plain black and white pictures and drawings doesn't carryover well into real world experiences for them. A colored printer, colored cardstock, and laminating pouches would help me create therapy materials that would be effective to their learning style and increase my student's language carryover into setting outside of the therapy room. I service student with Autism, Down Syndrome, and learning disabilities. These disabilities have resulted in a language gap for my students. Having the resources to create materials that they can better relate to real life would make a huge difference in their progress toward their goals.
