My third graders attend a Title One school. We have traditional desks and chairs that been around for decades. 95% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Many students like to read, but become tired sitting at their desks throughout the long school day. They would read for longer periods of time and ultimately become better readers if they could sit and read in bean bag chairs.
