What makes my students special? My students are special for a number of reasons, but the most important one is that despite their low social economic status, my students are filled with dreams and goals. They come from many different living arrangements and broken homes, but when they come to school they are filled with hope that their dreams are indeed possible. 98% of the students that attend our campus are labeled as "at risk" students, but here they are given the opportunity to succeed and not become a statistic. My students are aware of their surroundings and because of this they are natural born fighters. In my class, I teach them to protect themselves with words and an education, the only form of protection that one should ever need. My students fill my classroom with life and I am proud to be apart of their education. Please consider funding us and making a difference in their lives through books.
