While students are using a microscope, it is sometimes difficult for them to identify what they should be seeing. The OMAX Triocular Digital Microscope with 5 MP camera will allow me to project an image of the slide on my overhead to make identification easier for students. I am hoping that knowing what to look for, will help decrease student frustration in their first attempts with microscopes and thus, make life science more interesting and fun. In addition, students could show an entire class interesting finds they made, by bringing their slide to the digital microscope and projecting it on the overhead. I can already feel their excitement!
