My students are great. They are a very diverse group of boys and girls who have a passion for learning. The majority of my students are African American and Hispanic and all have the ability to do well academically. Most of them have been at Lincoln Elementary school since they were little and really enjoy coming to school everyday. It is my goals to help them reach theirs and that is to provide them with lesson plans that are engaging, interactive and fun. In addition some of my students are low functioning and differentiated instruction is needed in order for them to remain on task and retain pertinent information given in regards to literacy. They all have the potential to do well. It is my job to see that they do. Additionally, what's needed in order to differentiate instruction is a smart board or a visual aide to keep students who lack focus engaged.
