My students deserve the best learning environment so that they can be empowered as leaders both in and out of our classroom. By using a photo printer in the classroom, it will provide students with an instant feeling of pride when they see themselves as leaders in our classroom. Displaying student photos throughout the classroom will celebrate student successes and achievements, especially with little learners who are learning to navigate their first time ever in a classroom. One of the most important ways I teach my five and six-year-old students to be independent learners, thinkers, and problem-solvers is by using pictures to show clear expectations of what an area of our classroom or materials looks like. From our morning procedures to learning to read, add, and subtract, photos of students being leaders in the classroom are essential for young students to learn important skills throughout our year together. These photos will then be sent home with families to continue to celebrate students' successes.
