A Little Free Library is an outdoor storage space a "take a book / leave a book" type exchange program. This project came about as a result of our class participating in Challenge-Based learning. We identified challenges in our school that we could work on. After much discussion we decided that we would like to help our class as well as our entire school be able to have access to free books when school is not in session. We had aspirations of creating this library ourselves, but decided if we wanted it before the end of the school year that we had better go with a kit. This library will not only help our class feel the accomplishment of completing their first Challenge-Based project, but it will allow our entire school to read year round for free!
