My students attend a rural, low socioeconomic school in South Carolina. Many do not have Internet or newspapers at home and most have few connections to current national and world events. However, they are eager learners who desire to know more about the world they live in and what role they can play in it! My students have such potential to affect their community, state, nation, and world!
