The students will learn the proper use of phonics by using these reading materials to listen to letter sounds and blends to develop their reading fluency. The activities are interactive and appropriate for this age group. This project will be effective in my classroom by using differentiated instruction in auditory, visual, and hands-on activities to enhance the vocabulary of my first grade students. The students will be able to work independently and self-check the work that is assigned to them. Using individualized instruction will assist my students in becoming independent workers in a nurturing and positive working environment.
